The following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions conducted through the Half Price Perfumes web site.
Pricing & Availability
All product prices are in £ sterling including VAT at the current UK rate and exclusive of delivery. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before accepting an order. Prices with a marked United Kingdom recommended retail price (UK RRP) refer to prices the manufacturer recommends goods are sold at in the UK market, or prices that retailers within the UK market are currently offering the same product. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a refund for the unavailable product(s).
Authenticity
We guarantee that all advertised products are genuine, but to find the best prices for our customers we may occasionally sell stock originally intended for sale in other countries around the world, this means that trade names of products and packaging of products may differ from those on sale in the UK. These details will be identified clearly against the product description.
Product Details
Some products may have an associated image or photo, these are for reference only and should be considered illustrative. In the case of unboxed items the price of the equivalent regular goods may be shown for reference only. Some items may be marked not for individual sale. By submitting your order to Half Price Perfumes you are confirming that you are aware of this fact and do not consider this to be a problem with ordering that product. We make every effort try to ensure all products marked as such are identified on the system.
Delivery
The delivery charge shown on the website is for UK mainland only. Please e-mail us for details of delivery charges outside UK mainland. Due to the nature of ordering on the Internet it is not possible for you to specify a delivery date. However, you can nominate an alternative delivery address if this is more convenient. Simply fill in an alternative delivery address when you place your order.
Order Payment
Payment can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Delta, American Express, Switch, Maestro or Visa Electron.
halfpriceperfumes.co.uk is hosted on a dedicated server with a security infrastructure consisting of 128-bit SSL encryption of any personal data about our customers. Credit card info is additionally encrypted prior to storage on our robust SQL server.
A firewall is in place between the Internet and the outside world with HTTP Port 80 and HTTPS Port 443 being the only access into our system.
Additionally, our content and database servers are protected behind a high security configuration. This means there is no way to directly connect to our servers by IP address even if it were possible to breach the firewall security protocols.
Complaints
We will acknowledge complaints within 5 working days of receipt. We will endeavour to resolve any complaint within a period of 30 days.
Order Confirmation
You may be sent an e-mail confirming receipt of your order with Half Price Perfumes. We reserve the right to decline any order.
Security
Personal and credit card details are sent to WorldPay Plc using secure Internet Technology. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from Half Price Perfumes.
Statutory Rights
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Jurisdiction
Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us.
Returns & Cancellation
We do not generally sell goods on a sale or return basis. However, if the product has been damaged in transit or is faulty, please contact us on 0845 223 2183 (Calls charged at national rate on BT Phone System) within 7 days of order receipt. When you receive your order, as per the EU Distance Selling Directive, you have until the expiry of seven days of receipt to return the ordered products. The goods must be unused, unopened and in the same condition as they were originally despatched from Half Price Perfumes.
You must contact us by phone to confirm which items are being returned. You will be expected to pay for the return of the goods, and any refund of this amount will be at the sole discretion of Half Price Perfumes.
Any free gifts associated with an item must be returned at the same time. Please return them to the address at the bottom of the page along with a note of your details and the reason for return.
Refunds will be made to the original charged account within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management.
